Walking on Inis Oírr
Inis Oírr is a very walkable island, and all of the tourist attractions are within reach. Walking is the perfect low-impact and sustainable way to explore this tiny islet.
For example, walking from the pier at Trá Inis Oírr to the must-see wreck of the MV Plassey will take around 25 minutes. From the same starting point at the dock to Inis Oírr Lighthouse, it will take around 45 minutes. From Trá Inis Oírr across the island to the Charlie Bird Memorial Seat, around 35 minutes.
