Mini-Bus Tours

As soon as you step off our ferry, you'll see a row of buses lined up along the pier. There are a number of companies offering mini-bus tours on the island.

All tour guides are native to the island and are well informed on the island's history, flora and fauna. The mini-bus tours are approximately 2.5 - 3 hours in length, with a one and a half hour stop at Dún Aonghasa (Dun Aengus). The tours usually cost €20-€25.00pp.

Pony and Trap (Thomas Faherty Tours)

The pony and trap was the traditional means of transport of the Islanders and is still available to visitors on arrival at the pier. The size of the carts vary from 2-8 people.
