Beautifully Situated in Connemara, Galway, Aran Island Ferries sail year-round to all three of the Aran Islands; Inis Mór (Inishmore), Inis Meáin (Inishmaan) and Inis Oírr (Inisheer) from Rossaveel Ferry Terminal, a port 23 miles (37km west of Galway City centre) see a map to our Rossaveel Ferry Terminal. If you don't have transport, Aran Island Ferries operate a daily shuttle bus service from Galway City to the ferry terminal.
Rossaveel Ferry Departure Times
Aran Island Ferries depart from Rossaveel Ferry Terminal with two daily departures to all three of the Aran Islands. The number of departures to Inis Mór (Inishmore) increases during peak season.
Inis Mór (Inishmore) Ferry Departure Times
- 10.30am and 6pm (6.30pm on Fridays) with a 6.30pm departure daily between June and August.
- Between April and Sept. additional sailing: 1pm
- Between July and August additional sailing: 11.45am
Inis Meáin (Inishmaan) and Inis Oírr (Inisheer) Ferry Departure Times
- 10.30am and 6pm (6.30pm on Fridays) with a 6.30pm departure daily between June and August.
- Between May and Sept additional sailing: 1pm (Sunday only and Monday on Bank Holidays)
